Calculate My Fuel Saving

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the BoosTech Commercial website (boostechcommercial.co.za) and the services we provide. By using our website, requesting a quote or saving estimate, or booking a service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

About us

BoosTech Commercial (“BoosTech”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides on-site diesel performance and fuel-economy tuning (ECU remapping) and related services for cars, bakkies, light commercial, commercial and agricultural vehicles across South Africa.

Our services

We provide mobile, on-site ECU remapping and calibration designed to improve fuel efficiency and/or performance, together with related adjustments (which may include gearbox calibration and, where applicable, EGR, AdBlue and DPF handling). The exact work included depends on the package you select and your vehicle.

Fuel-saving estimates

Any fuel-saving figure we provide, whether through our online calculator, in an email, or in conversation, is an indicative estimate only. Estimates are based on results achieved on previously tuned vehicles and are provided to give you a general idea of the potential benefit. Actual results vary from vehicle to vehicle and depend on factors including the vehicle’s make, model, age and mechanical condition, its state of maintenance, the load it carries, the routes it drives, fuel quality, and individual driving style. We do not warrant or guarantee that you will achieve any specific saving, and an estimate does not form part of any contract or promise of a particular result.

Bookings and scheduling

When you submit a booking request, you are asking us to contact you to arrange a service; it is not a confirmed appointment until we have agreed a date, time and location with you. We service locations across South Africa on an on-site basis and will confirm availability for your area.

Pricing and payment

Prices shown on our website and in your estimate are indicative and may vary depending on your vehicle and the work required. We will confirm the final price with you before any work begins. Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking.

Vehicle condition and your responsibilities

You confirm that any vehicle presented for tuning is yours (or that you are authorised to have it tuned), is roadworthy, and is in sound mechanical condition. Tuning is not a remedy for existing mechanical faults. We may decline, pause or adjust work if we identify a pre-existing fault or a condition that makes tuning unsafe or unsuitable, and we may recommend that the issue is resolved first.

Our guarantee

We stand behind our work. If, after your tune, your vehicle’s efficiency does not visibly improve, we will remap your vehicle again at no charge until it does, or refund you, in line with our 30-day money-back guarantee. This guarantee applies to the tuning work we perform and is subject to the vehicle being in the mechanical condition described above and to reasonable, comparable measurement of before-and-after usage. It does not cover changes in results caused by unrelated mechanical issues, changes in load, route or driving style, or third-party modifications made after our work.

Warranty and insurance

Our tuning is carried out to be warranty-safe and we carry insurance for the work we perform. Nothing in these Terms removes any right you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, or other applicable law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoosTech Commercial is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please give us reasonable notice so we can offer the slot to another customer. We may charge a reasonable call-out fee for cancellations made after we have travelled to your location.

Intellectual property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos and images, belongs to BoosTech Commercial or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown above.
